Located in Kanata Lakes, Goldridge Park is a large open field with parking, soccer fields, and trails for you to explore. There are also tennis courts and a play structure nearby so everyone in the family has something to do! Pack a picnic, bring a soccer ball, or just do your own thing as you enjoy the open field. The park isn’t fenced in, so this spot is recommended for dogs who have good recall.

Kichesippi Beer Co.

Kichesippi Beer Co. on Robertson Road is a family-owned craft brewery with a dog-friendly patio and heated beer garden, so you don’t have to worry about leaving your furry friend at home. It’s not just that dogs are allowed on the patio, they’re welcomed! Water bowls are available for thirsty pups, and the staff are sure to stop and say hello.

Meadowbreeze Park

Meadowbreeze Park in Bridlewood has ponds, woods, and a 2km loop trail perfect for running, walking, or just perusing nature with your dog! The park is a large grassy area with a playground and some courts to play on, so no matter who is joining you for this day out, they’ll have a great time. If you are taking your dog, note that this is an on-leash park, so you won’t be able to let your furry friend run free!

Beaver Pond Trail

Deep in the Beaverbrook community you’ll find the Beaver Pond Trail, a 2.7km out-and-back trail where you can birdwatch, hike, bike, or just sit and enjoy the serenity of the water. The Beaver Pond Trail is off-leash friendly, so your pup can run free through nature and burn off some energy.
