Easy living in the Butternut Bungalow
As you open the door to the Butternut Bungalow Model Home, the fireplace down the hall acts as a focal point for this beautifully designed home with tones of warmth and comfort. It doesn’t stop there. The light and airy colour scheme with a palette of greyed olive and light blush ensures that the warm welcome continues throughout the home.
Designed to be the heart of the home, the gourmet kitchen features an extended island and breakfast bar that doubles as extra counter space when cooking. The cloud white shaker and charcoal cabinet doors feature unique hardware components, which are a modern version of traditional blacksmith pieces. The two-toned cabinetry offers plenty of cabinet space while the warm white quartz countertop acts as the final touch to bring this classic, yet contemporary, kitchen together.
The kitchen flows seamlessly into the dining room and great room thanks to the open concept of the Butternut Bungalow design. Six oversized windows allow for all three rooms to fill with natural light that brightens the entire home.
The great room is a fantastic place to read the newspaper, catch up with friends, or just relax next to the warmth of the fireplace. The light mist colour of the white oak flooring contrasts beautifully with the dark porcelain tile of the fireplace wall.
Just off the dining room is a covered deck you’ll want to take full advantage of during warmer months. Whether you want to relax while soaking in the sun or make a delicious meal on the barbecue, the covered deck is a great addition to the Butternut home.
The sun-filled study at the front of the house is where you’ll find peace and quiet away from the liveliness of the main space. By adding a desk, you can easily turn the room into a home office with enough natural light to keep you focused and productive throughout the day.
The master bedroom’s generous walk-in closet and stylish 4-piece ensuite bathroom combines luxury with practicality. The additional bedroom and bathroom are handy to have when friends and relatives drop by for a surprise visit.
The main floor of this Bungalow also features a laundry room, providing you with everything you need on one liveable floor. The basement can be finished to expand your home and add an additional bedroom, bathroom, and activity space. The Butternut Model Home uses the extra activity space as an entertainment centre with a home theatre and pool table, but you can turn it into whatever you’d like — the choice is yours.
Finishes, flex plans, and décor described are unique to this Butternut Model Home, and may include features that are additional investments through the Minto Design Centre. Availability is subject to change without notice.
