Upcoming Community Information Meeting to discuss proposed Heritage Village site redevelopment

Community members are invited to attend an information meeting to review and discuss the redevelopment of the Heritage Village site (located on the northern portion of the Unionville Home Society Lands at 4300 Highway 7) by Minto Communities, in conjunction with Unionville Home Society and the Region of York.
As part of the Work and Public Consultation Program recommended at the City of Markham Development Services Committee on November 16, 2015 and approved at Council, this meeting will include a formal presentation and open house format on Wednesday January 6, 2016 at the Hilton Toronto/Markham Suites Hotel and Conference Centre located at 8500 Warden Avenue in the City of Markham.
No formal applications have been made to the City of Markham to date.
Members of the public are welcome to join the Community Information Meeting to learn more about the site itself, the consultation process and the timing moving forward.

Heritage Village site redevelopment Community Liaison Committee Formed

A Community Liaison Committee (CLC) has been formed as a forum that will provide information and approximate timelines on the Heritage Village site redevelopment, while listening to feedback and answering questions.
The first CLC meeting was held on Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at the Markham Pan Am Centre.
