Fun March Break Activities for Every Day of the Week
Are you wracking your brain for activities to do to keep the kids entertained for a whole week this March Break? If you’ve been running out of ideas for what to do while the kids are off of school, we’ve got you covered! Whether you want to stay home or go out, there are so many fun, budget friendly activities for all ages that are both entertaining and educational. We’ve gathered some fun ideas and created a March Break activities guide for every day of the week for you and your family to enjoy so you won’t be hearing “I’m bored” at any point during the week.
Monday
If you want to stay in:
- Do arts and crafts
- Tap into your creative side with an arts and crafts day. An art project is a great way to connect as a family since you’ll be collaborating to create something together. There are many family art project ideas that don’t require a lot of supplies. You can create a vision board together with items lying around the house or tackle a bigger project that can go up in your home as a memory forever.

- SpringFestTO Fun Park is the ultimate March Break destination for families in the GTA. Tuesday
If you want to stay in:
- Go camping in your living room
- Who says you need to be in the wilderness to go camping? Camping in your living room can be just as fun. To set up the perfect, cozy camp site right at home, you’ll need lots of pillows, blankets, and ambient lighting. And don’t forget the S’mores! - Visit the zoo
- With over 4,000 animals, over 10 km of walking trails, and four tropical pavilions, the Toronto Zoo is the perfect place to spend an entire day with the family. From an enchanted night walk to a private Zoo Expedition, there will be different events taking place during March Break, so make sure to stay up to date with their calendar. The Toronto Zoo will also be celebrating the Year of the Tiger with special appearances by their new tiger mascot, as well as a Tiger Shop and special tiger-themed snacks.
Wednesday
If you want to stay in:

- Pamper the family and yourself with a relaxing spa day. You all deserve it! You can set the mood by dimming the lights, putting on some relaxing music, and lighting candles. Then get ready to de-stress with face masks, massages, manicures, and pedicures. - Take a day trip to Niagara Falls

Thursday

- Create your own at-home theater by gathering the family’s favourite films and popping some popcorn. - Food is always a great way to bring the family together and you can use your time together to pass along some of your favourite family recipes. Whether you love to cook or bake, get the whole family involved in the kitchen to make something delicious.
