Philip S. Orsino, OC, FCPA, FCA is a Corporate Director and the former President and Chief Executive Officer (“CEO”) of Jeld-Wen Inc. (2011 – 2014), a global integrated manufacturer of building products. In addition to other business interests, Mr. Orsino is currently the President and CEO of Brightwaters Strategic Solutions Inc., which provides advisory and consulting services.

Mr. Orsino is currently the Chairman of Renin Corporation and Chairman of Tru Tech Door. Both companies are in the building products industry serving customers throughout Canada and the United States.

He is also a Trustee of the Minto Apartment Real Estate Investment REIT, listed on the TSX.

Mr. Orsino is a former Director of The Bank of Montreal and former Chair of the Audit and Conduct Review Committee. He recently retired after 21 years in April 2020.

From 1984 until 2005, Mr. Orsino was the President and CEO of Masonite International Corporation, a fully integrated worldwide leader in the manufacturing and distribution of doors and components.

He was formerly the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the University Health Network. He is responsible for the establishment of The Philip S. Orsino Hematology Centre and the founding of the Philip S. Orsino Cell Therapy Facility. He is an Honorary Trustee of UHN and is currently a Board Member and Audit Chair of The Toronto General & Western Hospital Foundation.

Mr. Orsino was appointed an Officer of the Order of Canada in 2004, was the recipient of the 2003 Canada’s Outstanding CEO of the Year Award and received the University of Toronto's Distinguished Business Alumni Award from the Rotman School of Management in 2002. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Professional Accountants and holds a Bachelor’s degree from Victoria College at the University of Toronto.
