Alan Greenberg

Alan Greenberg spent almost 30 years in progressively senior positions with the Minto Group of Companies, a second generation family business. He finished his operational career as President and COO of MintoUrban Communities Inc., which focused on high rise condominium development and residential rentals in Toronto and Ottawa, Canada. Under his leadership, Minto became an industry leader in urban design, one of the leading green residential developers in North America and a leading residential rental property manager in Canada. As part of a planned transition of the family business, Alan retired from day to day operations in March 2011. He continues to provide strategic advice through his participation in the Business Advisory Committee and as one of two family members on the Board of Directors.

Alan is the co-founder and Chairman of GreenSoil lnvestments, with a portfolio of venture capital funds focused on investing in companies that enable smart and efficient utilization of resources in two distinct verticals — food/ag tech and real estate tech. He is also the co-founder and Chairman of Your Music Memory, a world class, unique, iconic, rock 'n roll memorabilia collection focusing on the art of the album cover.

Most recently, Alan co-founded and is co-chairman of City Club Apartments LLC. City Club is actively developing, owning and managing apartment rentals throughout the Midwest US. His investment includes ownership in 1,000 existing rental suites, a development pipeline of over 3,000 rental suites and 100,000sf of ancillary retail/office, and an asset/property management group that oversees day to day operations of over 8,000 rental suites.

Alan holds a Bachelor of Commerce & Economics from the University of Toronto. He sits on the Board of Directors of The Association for Soldiers of Israel, is a Director Emeritus of the Siminovitch Prize, and is a member of the following corporate boards: BridgeGreen Capital (Canada), Bioharvest Inc. (Israel), Goby Inc. (U.S.), and Haldor Inc. (Israel).
