ON – 2011 – Minto Properties Inc. has earned two prestigious industry accolades at the 2011 Federation of Rental-housing Providers of Ontario (FRPO) MAC (Marketing, Achievement and Construction) Awards and was also named finalist in four other categories. Every year FRPO members come together, at the annual Awards Gala Dinner, to celebrate businesses and individuals who are leaders in the residential rental housing industry.

Ottawa, ON – November 10, 2011 – The University of Ottawa announced today that its Sports Complex, located at 801 King Edward Avenue, has been named the Minto Sports Complex in recognition of The Minto Group’s $2.5 million contribution to the uOttawa community. Part of this gift included facilitating the acquisition of the land where the Desmarais Building now stands.

Ottawa, ON – March 1, 2011 – The Minto Group made history closing on the single largest real estate transaction that London, Ontario has ever seen. The acquisition added 2,326 residential rental units in 13 apartment buildings, the 158,000 square foot Cherryhill Village Mall and the nearby 31,000 square foot medical building to Minto’s already substantial portfolio all at once.
