This prestigious honour recognizes the utmost quality in commercial real estate buildings and rewards excellence in building management.

The award also signifies Minto’s invitation to participate in BOMA Canada’s National TOBY® Awards.
ON – 2012 – Minto Communities Canada is named as leader in two prestigious categories by EnerQuality, Canada’s foremost provider of green building services. Minto Communities Inc. was awarded the two highest honours at last week’s EnerQuality Awards of Excellence, 2011 Green Builder of the Year and 2011 Leader of the Year. The organization congratulated Minto’s vast achievements in green building.
Ottawa, ON – January 26, 2012 – The Minto Group’s 180 Kent Street office tower became the first and only building in Ottawa to receive the Building Owners and Managers Association of Canada (BOMA) Building Environmental Standards (BESt) Level 4 certification – BOMA’s highest level of recognition for excellence in environmental best practices within the commercial building industry.

Ottawa, ON – November 10, 2011 – The University of Ottawa announced today that its Sports Complex, located at 801 King Edward Avenue, has been named the Minto Sports Complex in recognition of The Minto Group’s $2.5 million contribution to the uOttawa community. Part of this gift included facilitating the acquisition of the land where the Desmarais Building now stands.
