Minto Unveils Four New Townhome Models in Westlake
CITY OF WESTLAKE, FL – (July 19, 2022) — Minto Communities, the master developer and primary homebuilder in Westlake, has unveiled four furnished models for its first townhome neighborhood. They are now open to the public for a preview tour with sales starting July 24.
The Crossings of Westlake will feature 130 townhome residences with prices starting in the $400s.
The two-story model homes are from the newly created Bay Collection. The 1,669 A/C square-foot Aventura floorplan is designed with three bedrooms and two-and-a-half baths. The Brickell, with 1,978 A/C square feet, has four bedrooms and three-and-a-half baths. With 2,113 A/C square feet, the Biscayne is the largest floorplan with three bedrooms and two-and-a-half baths.
There is a mix of four- and five-unit buildings and three unique exterior architectural styles--Coastal Contemporary, Modern Bermuda and Urban Transitional. Each home comes with a two-car garage, a brick-paver driveway and walkway, fenced-in backyard and covered lanai. Premium interior features include an island kitchen with granite countertops, tile flooring throughout all main living areas, stainless-steel Whirlpool kitchen appliances, full-size Whirlpool washer and dryer, and impact windows.
Residents will have full access to the nearby Westlake Adventure Park where they can take a dip in the lagoon-style pool with water slide, play with their kids at the splash pad, and have a bite to eat at the Snack Shack & Scoops Ice Cream. Residents will also enjoy the bocce ball courts, BMX pump park, dog park and community activities at the expansive event lawn and food truck court. Minto is working to complete phase two of the Adventure Park which will add basketball courts, a lap pool and multi-purpose building.

The Crossings is the sixth Minto neighborhood to be developed since the 3,800-acre Westlake opened for home sales in October 2017. Last summer, Minto opened The Orchards with 358 single-family homes in phase one starting in the $400s, and The Estates, an enclave of 76 luxury homes on 75-foot homesites starting in the $600s. Altogether, Westlake is approved for 4,500 homes and more than 2 million square feet of non-residential space.
On the commercial side, there is significant development activity taking place. Currently under construction are a Publix shopping center, retail plaza known as the Shoppes of Westlake, an office/light industrial facility, self-storage facility, and a new 800-seat Christ Fellowship worship center. Construction will soon begin on Adrenaline World, a family-entertainment concept with an arcade, virtual reality games, climbing structures, trampoline park, laser tag, miniature golf, Go-Kart tracks, dinosaur park, splash pad, rope course and cloud climb. Recently completed projects include two new 7-Eleven stores on Seminole Pratt Whitney Road, and a new Palm Beach County Tax Collector service center.
