Pumpkin Patches in the GTA
Pumpkin picking has become a beloved fall ritual and a great way to create special memories with your family, friends, and loved ones. We’ve put together a list of our favourite pumpkin patches in the GTA to visit this fall for beautiful photo opportunities and to pick the perfect pumpkins for Halloween decorating and fall baking. Along with being able to pick your own pumpkin, many of these farms also have other fresh fruit to pick from and plenty of fall activities to take part in.
Albion Orchards Apple Farm and Country Market

14800 Innis Lake Road, Caledon
This Caledon farm has a pumpkin patch with pumpkins of all different sizes and colours. As October is also apple season, they also have many different apple varieties picked fresh and on display.
Brooks Farm

122 Ashworth Road, Mount Albert
At Brooks Farm, you’ll be met with different basket sizes to choose from upon entry for pumpkin picking. Brooks Farm introduces new activities and produce each year to get you in the fall spirit. While at the farm, checkout the Barnyard Playland, a 10 acre playland with attractions and farm animals.
Andrew's Scenic Acres

Located in the beautiful escarpment countryside, Andrew’s Scenic Acres offers pumpkin picking alongside walking trails, wagon-rides, a playground, an animal corral, a straw mountain climb, a miniature straw maze, and a corn walk. Seasons pass holders get 10% off PYO pumpkins and free pumpkin pie tart.
Downey’s Farm Market
13682 Heart Lake Road, Caledon
Downey’s Farm Market’s Pumpkinfest is loaded with thousands of pumpkins and fun activities, such as unlimited wagon rides, live entertainment, a corn maze, puppet shows, farm animals, and more. The farm’s bakery also serves up yummy treats, including bakery fresh pies, butter tarts, pumpkin donuts, breads, pastries, and homemade creamy fudge, preserves, honey, and maple syrup.
Forsythe Family Farms

Enjoy pumpkin and apple picking, good food, and family activities at Forsythe Family Farms. On Halloween this year, you can visit the farm for crafts, farm animals, pumpkin carving stations, and a special pumpkin themed quest and scavenger hunt. Children in costume will get half price admission.

At Dixie Orchards, you can enjoy the large pumpkin patch, as well as a variety of apples, gourds, and hazelnuts. The farm also has seasonal treats, a corn maze, wagon rides, gifts, and fall decor.
Reesor’s Farm Market
Reesor’s Farm Market has a long history, with the Reesors having lived and farmed in the Markham/Stouffville Ontario area since 1804. Visit their farm this fall to pick your own pumpkins and get lost in the corn maze.

Murphy’s Farm Market

A Farmer’s Obstacle Course, a Bouncing Pillow, and a Mini Main Street. They also have a corn maze, hay bales, wagon rides, and fall decor. Visit the pumpkin patch to pick your own pumpkin or get a pre-picked pumpkin at the market. You won’t want to miss out on the pumpkin cannon show and be amazed as you watch pumpkins get launched hundreds of feet into the air then explode as they hit the ground.
Round the Bend Farm
Choose from different pumpkins and gourds at Round the Bend Farm. The farm also has plenty of activities, such as a straw maze and corn maze. They even have pumpkin bowling.

At Linton’s Farm Market, you can enjoy picking pumpkins of all colours, shapes, and sizes. To top off the fall fun, a pumpkin cannon will fire up on weekends. At the farm, you can also find gourds and decorative corn. Visit the farm market for a wide variety of homegrown fruits and vegetables.
Cooper’s CSA Farm
The Cooper family has been farming in the GTA for almost 200 years. Enjoy picking your own pumpkins from their pumpkin patch then check out the 10 acre corn maze. They also have an outdoor market where you shop available products and produce.
