LIVE together | 4 MIN READ | 2021-02-12

Family Day is a statutory holiday meant to give families the chance to connect and spend quality time together. Normally,  over the Family Day long weekend, many are taking a long weekend getaway, but this year is a little different since Ontario’s stay-at-home order has yet to be lifted in some regions.

This year most of us will be spending Family Day indoors, but that doesn’t mean that there aren’t plenty of great options to choose from to keep the whole family engaged and entertained. From creative and educational activities to virtual programming being offered by museums and galleries, there are plenty of fun things to do at home this Family Day! You’ll be sure to find the perfect idea on this list to safely celebrate Family Day this year with your loved ones.

With so many virtual events to choose from, you’ll have a hard time picking just one!

A dish like pizza is a great idea because every member of your family can contribute their favourite toppings!

This is also a great opportunity to pull out all of the old clothes that you might not want anymore, allowing you to do some early spring cleaning. As a family, you can pick what to pack up and donate to a charity or secondhand store.
