Minto Celebrates Grand Opening of Westlake Adventure Park
City of Westlake, FL (June 27, 2019) — Westlake residents now have access to a resort right in their backyard with the opening of Westlake Adventure Park, a massive, multi-million-dollar amenities complex that recently opened in the master-planned community.
On June 22, Minto hosted a grand opening celebration for the public to come out and experience the Westlake lifestyle. Families participated in lawn games, enjoyed a BMX bike demonstration at the Pump Park, and sampled summertime treats at the Snack Shack, one of two concession areas located at the large resort-style lagoon pool.
City of Westlake leaders joined Minto executives for a ribbon-cutting ceremony to officially dedicate the 15-acre, $15-million-dollar complex.

Westlake Adventure Park, which broke ground in June of last year, provides homeowners with easy access to social spaces, outdoor activities and all types of recreation.
An aquatics area features a lagoon pool, splash pad, tower slide and the concession stands. Next door is a concert pavilion and an expansive recreational lawn area for concerts and events with shade pavilions, grills and picnic area, plus an adventure playground and bocce ball courts.
To date, Minto has sold more than 300 single-family homes in its first two neighborhoods, The Hammocks and The Meadows of Westlake. Home prices range from the high $200s to the $500s and a variety of move-in-soon homes are available for quick closings. Minto's six designer model homes are open daily for touring.
Non-residential development is also taking shape at Westlake. In April, the first new commercial development and healthcare facility in the city, ER at Westlake, opened to patients. FPL is currently developing a new solar farm, and construction is well underway on a new Palm Beach County fire station and district headquarters.
