Minto Breaks Ground on New Sales Center for Westlake
First home sales at highly anticipated community expected to begin later this fall
Westlake, FL — May 24, 2017 - Minto Communities announced that construction has begun on the sales center for its new 3,800-acre master planned community, Westlake, located in Palm Beach County’s newest city by the same name. It’s expected to be finished later this fall coinciding with the beginning of home sales.
The new sales center will include 9,378 square feet with interactive displays on the community and homes, children’s playroom, cafe’ and full interior design center. Minto has won several regional and national awards for its innovative sales centers throughout Florida.

Located in the central region of Palm Beach County, Westlake blends residential, commercial, recreational and natural elements into a vibrant new city. Westlake will include multiple neighborhoods with homes designed and built by Minto that feature open floor plans, indoor-outdoor living spaces, the latest technologies and a host of premium included features.
The Westlake town center will be a comprehensive retail district with an eclectic blend of national and local retailers, wide sidewalks and public spaces that host a lively calendar of programming and events. The community will feature an Aquatics Center with lagoon-style pool, lazy river, tower slide and splash pad, plus an adult pool with swim lanes and shade cabanas. Expansive recreational lawns offer spaces for games, picnics, and community-wide events. Additional amenities include an adventure playground, dog park, sports courts and multi-purpose building.
Minto Communities continues making improvements to the area’s infrastructure as well, spending $25 million to expand and beautify Seminole Pratt Whitney Road which bisects the City of Westlake. Construction is underway on widening the two-lane road to four lanes and adding a landscaped divided median, among other enhancements. Minto has also donated 4.5 acres of land to Palm Beach County for a new fire station that will also serve as a district headquarters.
