Construction is progressing on Minto’s Festival™ resort community in Orlando

Orlando, FL — Construction is progressing on Festival™, a 200+-acre luxury resort-style residential community by Minto Communities. Festival is located just five miles from Walt Disney World® in Orlando, between I-4 and Ronald Reagan Parkway. The Festival site includes natural Florida woodlands and lakes that will surround residential areas and amenities.

Construction is progressing on five villa models scheduled for completion in early April 2015. Plans call for 500 two-story luxury vacation villas priced from the mid-$200s.  The two-story villas range from 1,605 to 2,232 square feet under air, plus optional cabana bath. All include a private covered and screened lanai and plunge pool. Uniquely designed floor plans offer options ranging from three to five bedrooms, loft and as many as five-and-a-half bathrooms.

Festival’s Elation model includes three bedrooms, two baths, loft and great room. The Imagine model includes four bedrooms, three baths, loft and great room. The Jubilee model includes four bedrooms, four baths, loft and great room. The Marvel model includes five bedrooms, four-and-a-half baths and great room, and the Splendor model includes five bedrooms, five-and-a-half baths and great room.

Construction also is progressing on Downtown Festival, scheduled for completion Summer 2015. Downtown Festival will be a vibrant town center with shopping, dining, resort-style pool with private cabanas, kids’ water park, fitness center and many other recreational amenities as well as a general store, ice cream parlor, hi-tech video arcade, Florida-style bar and grill, putt-putt golf course and volleyball courts.

“Every aspect of Festival has been thoughtfully planned to create a resort community unlike any other,” notes Minto Senior Vice President William Bullock. “Minto is known internationally for developing residential communities that include resort-style recreational amenities, and we have taken this approach even further by designing Festival as an attraction unto itself. Our residents will enjoy the level of amenities they would expect to find in the finest vacation resorts and more.

“Our buyers, from the U.S. and abroad will have the peace of mind of owning a vacation villa managed by a leading property management company, and the option of placing their villa in an international vacation rental program,” he adds.

Festival has been developed without utilizing Community Development District (CDD) funding. This means residents won't see annual CDD assessments on their tax bill, which saves them thousands of dollars over the life of their home.

In addition to Festival, Minto’s new home communities in Florida include the Laureate Park neighborhood within Lake Nona in Orlando, Bonita Isles in Bonita Springs, The Isles of Collier Preserve and TwinEagles in Naples, Harbour Isle in Sarasota/Bradenton, Sun City Center in the Tampa Bay area, TownPark at Tradition and LakePark at Tradition in Port St. Lucie, PortoSol in Royal Palm Beach, Villas By The Sea in Lauderdale-By-The-Sea, and Artesia in Sunrise.
