Bonita Isles First Closing

Minto Communities’ Bonita Isles Success Story — Going from Community Groundbreaking to First Resident in Less than a Year

NAPLES, Fla. –Minto Communities announces that the first residents at Bonita Isles have closed on their new home — The Barcelona. Bonita Isles, Minto’s new resort-style community in Bonita Springs, Florida, is located at Bernwood Parkway, 0.5 miles east of U.S. 41, at the center of Bonita Springs, just minutes from Coconut Point Mall and Southwest Florida’s beautiful beaches.

“Bonita Isles is a major success story,” notes Minto Communities’ Vice President Bill Bullock. “In less than one year, we went from purchasing the property last August to groundbreaking, completed infrastructure, four models and, now, our first resident family. Sales activity at Bonita Isles has been phenomenal with reservations beginning as soon as the community was introduced. Several more homes currently are approaching completion, and other new residents will be closing soon on their homes.”

Four completed models at Bonita Isles are open for viewing, and include two single-family residences, the Venecia and Salerno, and two paired villas, the Barcelona and Roma. Single-family homes and paired villas feature open floorplans and include two-car garages, covered entries and covered screened lanais. When completed, Bonita Isles will include more than 200 single-family homes and paired villas. Phase one includes 57 single-family homes and 70 luxury paired villas.

Bonita Isles offers a wide selection of floor plan choices, including four single-family home floor plans and five paired villa floor plans. Luxury paired villas range in size from 1,565 to 1,862 square feet under air, and are priced from the low $200s to high $200s. Single-family homes range in size from 1,919 to 2,387 square feet under air, and are priced from the high $200s to mid-$300s. To add to the community’s Mediterranean ambiance, all homes feature tile roofs.

The Venecia is 2,387 square feet under air, and includes three bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths, den and great room. The Salerno is 2,080 under air, and includes two bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths, den and great room.

The Barcelona paired villa is 1,565 square feet under air, and includes two bedrooms, two baths, great room and den. The Roma paired villa is 1,780 square feet under air, and includes two bedrooms, two baths, den and great room.

Construction of the Island Club at Bonita Isles is well underway and scheduled for completion later this year. The Island Club is uniquely situated on an island in the center of the expansive lake and will include a fitness center, two tennis courts, resort-style swimming pool surrounded by two stunning waterfalls and a spacious lanai with outdoor grill.

According to Bullock, “We believe sales at Bonita Isles have been strong because of the quality of homes, resort-style amenities and price point as well as the community’s central location between Naples and Fort Myers. Also, unlike many of our competitors, Bonita Isles has been developed without utilizing Community Development District (CDD) funding. This means you won’t see annual CDD assessments on your tax bill, which saves you thousands of dollars over the life of your home. Bonita Isles provides all of the lifestyle and amenities homebuyers expect without the ongoing burden of a CDD payment. Once you compare, the choice is clearly Minto.”
