ORLANDO, Fla. –Minto Communities has been recognized with two first place awards from the Greater Orlando Builders Association Parade of Homes™ (GOBA) for Minto models at Laureate Park at Lake Nona in Orlando. Minto’s Brenner model won the first place award for multi-family homes under $300,000, and Minto’s Cormack Grande model won the first place award for single-family homes from $450,000-$549,000.

Minto’s two-story Brenner model courtyard home is 2,714 square feet with 1,650 square feet under air, and has two bedrooms and two baths. It features a trendy, modern design with open, loft-style great room, 12’ foot ceilings, massive kitchen and dining area, and distinctive outdoor living spaces that include a large private courtyard and balcony.

Minto’s two-story Cormack Grande single-family home model includes 3,680 square feet with 2,307 square feet under air, and has three bedrooms and two-and-a-half baths. Features include a welcoming front porch, bright, open living areas, designer kitchen, unique loft retreat, and distinctive outdoor living spaces.

According to Minto Vice President William Bullock, “Minto is honored to receive GOBA’s first place recognition for our innovative home designs at Laureate Park, and proud to bring our homes to Lake Nona — Orlando’s top-selling master-planned community.”

The Brenner and Cormack Grande and three additional courtyard and single-family home models are open at Laureate Park. Models feature bright, open living areas, designer kitchens, lavish baths, walk-in closets, and uniquely designed outdoor living spaces. Minto’s Laureate Park homes are designated as Environments for Living and Energy Star Certified.

Single-family floor plans include three bedrooms or four bedrooms, plus loft, and all have two-car garages. Options are available to add a second floor retreat and three-car garage to selected floor plans. Pricing for single-family homes starts in the low $300’s.

Courtyard home floor plans include two bedrooms or three bedrooms plus a unique loft with 10’ ceilings that can function as a playroom, hobby room or private retreat. All have two-car garages. Courtyard homes are priced from the mid- $200s.

Bullock notes that Minto has experienced significant interest from medical and other professionals and retirees because of Laureate Park’s location near Lake Nona’s $2 billion, 650-acre Medical City. In addition, pre-school, elementary, middle, high and post-graduate schools are located within Lake Nona, and the Orlando International Airport is less than 10 miles away.

To meet buyer demand, Minto recently released the company’s next phase of Laureate Park home sites for luxury single-family and courtyard homes. Five new single-family floor plans have been added to existing Minto floor plan offerings at Laureate Park, and a new single-family model is projected for completion this fall.

More than 40% of Lake Nona’s 7,000 acres is dedicated to open green space and enhanced park areas with 44 miles of nature trails, biking and walking paths. The resort-style Laureate Park Village Center includes an aquatic center with two pools. A family pool features zero-entry admission, deck jets, water cannons, and 20-foot tall vortex wave dumping bucket. An adult pool features luxurious private cabanas, free-form swim areas and four junior Olympic lap lanes. A 3,400-square-foot fitness facility and lakeside restaurant and café are planned. In addition, the United States Tennis Association recently announced plans to create a state-of-the-art tennis facility at Lake Nona.
