One of Toronto's newest condo developments comes with its own meditation salt rock wall room and several other Zen-like features. The 47-storey condo building, called The Saint at 89 Church St., is a new condo development from Minto Communities GTA with interiors designed by Toronto-based Figure3.
Following back-and-forth planning with the City, Minto Communities GTA submitted Zoning By-law Amendments that would allow for 720 new purpose-built rental apartment units on the lands of 111 Pacific Avenue, 255 Glenlake Avenue, and 66 Oakmount Road — which Minto owns.
Minto Properties GTA received the zoning approval to add new buildings in amongst the existing buildings of the “Tower-in-the-Park” sites that were a popular urban planning approach in Toronto in the 60s and 70s.
