Minto Communities wins 16 Aurora and Excel Awards

Orlando, FL — Minto Communities was recognized with 16 Aurora and Excel awards at the Southeast Building Conference presented by the Southeast Building Council (SEBC) in Orlando in August. The SEBC presents the largest building industry trade show in the southeast. The 2018 competition drew 400 entries from 12 states in 70 categories that were reviewed by a panel of building industry leaders. The Aurora Awards are presented annually for community planning, product design, and interior merchandising. Excel Awards recognize achievements in marketing, advertising and sales.


Minto’s Westlake community, located in the City of Westlake in Palm Beach County, Florida, received seven awards, sweeping the awards categories. Westlake won a Silver Award for Single Family Residential Housing Community of the Year. In addition, Westlake received four Silver Aurora Awards for Best Single Family Detached Home for Minto’s Persimmon, Azalea, Kingfisher Grand and Kestrel Grand models, and two Excel Awards for Best Sales Center and Best Radio Commercial.


Minto’s One Particular Harbour by Margaritaville, located in Minto’s Harbour Isle community on Anna Maria Sound in Bradenton, Florida, won four Silver and Grand Aurora Awards for Best Multifamily Housing Community and Multifamily Residential Housing Community of the Year.


Latitude Margaritaville communities by Minto and global brand Margaritaville Holdings won five awards. Latitude Margaritaville Daytona Beach, located in Daytona Beach, Florida, won a Grand Aurora Award for Best 55+ Living Community For Sale, and Silver Awards for Best 55+ Living Community and Best Community Site Plan. Latitude Margaritaville Hilton Head, located in Hardeeville, South Carolina, won a Grand Aurora Award and Silver award for Best 55+ Living Community On-the-Boards.
