CITY OF WESTLAKE, FL (June 18, 2021) — Minto Communities announces its first new luxury-home neighborhood in Westlake. The Estates of Westlake is an exclusive enclave of 76 homesites, most of which have water views. Prices will range between the $500s and $800s. The neighborhood is located off Persimmon Blvd. directly east of The Groves, a neighborhood that opened last summer and is nearly sold out.
Minto expects to launch sales for The Estates in late July to coincide with the completion of a new model home.

The homes in The Estates are part of a new Minto product line known as the Atlantic Collection. The collection features 11 one- and two-story floor plans ranging in size from 2,703 square feet to 4,546 square feet under air. Minto is currently building the Tequesta Grand as the model home for The Estates, which offers 3,748 square feet of living space including four bedrooms, four-and-a-half-baths, flex room, private guest casita and two-car garage.
The Atlantic Collection boasts premium features including dramatic high ceilings and solid core interior doors, elegant brick paver driveway, entry walkway and covered lanai, and impact resistant windows and sliding glass doors. Kitchens feature Whirlpool stainless steel appliances, 42-inch frameless European-style cabinets and quartz countertops, and bathrooms offer raised-height vanities with quartz vanity tops and undermount sinks.
Minto is the master developer and lead builder of the 3,800-acre Westlake community, which encompasses most of the city of Westlake that was incorporated in 2016 to become the 39th municipality in Palm Beach County. The first two Minto neighborhoods, The Hammocks and The Meadows, sold out in 2020, and The Groves is close to sell out.
Later this summer, Minto will start construction on the second phase of the Westlake Adventure Park, which will have a multi-purpose community building, basketball courts and an adult lap pool.
The $15 million first phase, completed in 2019, features a resort-style lagoon pool with a water slide, a kids’ interactive splash pad and poolside concessions. An expansive recreational lawn features a covered concert pavilion and grassy area for events, along with shade pavilions, grills, a picnic area, a BMX pump park, a playground, bocce ball courts and a dog park.
Commercial development in Westlake is also in full stride. Publix is finalizing plans to build a shopping plaza anchored by a 50,000-square-foot grocery store just off Seminole Pratt Whitney Road. Nearby, two 7-11 stores with gas stations are under construction. The taxpayer’s office in Palm Beach County is finishing up construction on a new regional service center, as Christ Fellowship Church prepares to break ground on an 800-seat worship center. This follows the opening of a free-standing emergency room and Palm Beach County Fire Station over the last two years.
This year, Westlake made strong showings on two prestigious national lists for best-performing master-planned communities in the U.S. Westlake ranks 17th on RCLCO’s Top 50 Master Planned Communities for 2020, and John Burns Real Estate Consulting listed Westlake as 19 out of 50 communities in its 2020 rankings.
