Latitude Margaritaville Daytona Beach Starting Phase Two Amenities
Daytona Beach, FL (September 28, 2020) — Minto Communities announces that groundbreaking for Phase Two amenities at Latitude Margaritaville Daytona Beach will take place on schedule within the next 30 days.
Latitude Margaritaville communities are being developed by award-winning master developer Minto Communities and global lifestyle brand Margaritaville. Inspired by the lyrics and lifestyle of singer, songwriter and best-selling author Jimmy Buffett, whose songs evoke a passion for tropical escape and relaxation, this dynamic, all-new approach to active adult living has captured the imagination of today’s vibrant and active 55-and-better market. Close to 350,000 prospective buyers are registered as Latitude Margaritaville Paradise Club members to receive regular updates on the communities.

Phase Two amenities include a Workin' N' Playin' Center with Coconut Telegraph Business Center and Last Mango Theater for shows, dances and banquets. An indoor pool will be added to the Fins Up! Fitness Center. In addition, residents in this golf cart friendly community can tune up their golf carts at the new Hangar Workshop, and canine residents will be pampered at the Barkaritaville Pet Spa. Phase Two outdoor amenities include five bocce ball courts, three more pickleball courts, and two more tennis courts.
Phase One of the Latitude Town Center amenities opened in June 2019. They include the Latitude Town Center, featuring a thatched-roof bandshell with full-size concert stage, big screen to show live concerts and movies and Town Square for dancing. There also is a state-of-the-art Fins Up! Fitness Center and lagoon-like Paradise Pool with unique beach-style entry and it's own Tiki Island. Dining options include the Latitude Bar & Chill Restaurant and Changes in Attitude Bar that offers poolside drinks and dining. Completed outdoor amenities include tennis and pickleball courts, a nature trail, and Barkaritaville Dog Park. A private beach club on the Atlantic Ocean is nearing completion.
Latitude Landings, a 200,000-square-foot Margaritaville-themed, golf cart accessible destination retail center, anchored by Publix, is located across the street from Latitude Margaritaville Daytona Beach.
More than 3,000 homes are projected at Latitude Margaritaville Daytona Beach — the flagship location for Latitude Margaritaville communities. Conch Cottages, villas and single-family homes start in the low $200's.
Latitude Margaritaville Hilton Head in South Carolina is the second Latitude Margaritaville to have opened. The third, Latitude Margaritaville Watersound, located on the Emerald Coast in Florida's Panhandle, is underway and projected to open in early 2021.
