The future of Mahogany has arrived, and with it comes brand new features to help you live better in charming Manotick. In Phase 2 of our master-planned community — now on sale — you’ll love the immediate access to new green spaces that will quickly become weekend favourites. With two new parks, two ponds, trails and paths, and not to mention over 50 acres of protected natural parkland and access to Mahogany harbour for canoeing and kayaking, getting outdoors and under the sun is second nature in Mahogany!
Green spaces are meant to be shared in Mahogany, and there are plenty to go around. The largest park in Phase Two is designed right next to a future English Public Elementary School in the centre of the community. Parents can have peace of mind knowing their children can take the 5-minute walk to school within the safety of the community. The second park to the north has been designed for relaxing visits after a long day. Stop by after family dinner, unwind on a park bench, and take in the sights and sounds of nature. The community parks from Phase One are a quick walk away along Bridgeport Avenue. Complete with sports fields, play structures, sun shades and mature trees, these parks are ready for visitors.
Over 50 acres of natural parkland have been carefully preserved in Mahogany — including the endangered Butternut tree that our Butternut bungalow home was named after. A network of nature paths along the two ponds at either end of the community bring you through the small forest and into downtown Manotick. Joggers and cyclists will love having these multi-use pathways through the community — and direct access to Manotick on foot will be the ultimate convenience.
The family dog will love them even more! With acres of protected parkland and woods to explore, you and your furry best friend will become well acquainted with Mahogany’s trails and walkways. These trails can’t be missed in the winter, either. Strap on some snowshoes or cross-country skis to stay active and grab some fresh air through the colder months.
The Manotick Association has been working on the Mahogany Harbor enhancement project. The harbour will have small fishing docks with moorings for boats and access to the water — perfect for a paddle on those hot summer days. Grab the family and enjoy the leisurely stroll down Manotick Main Street and take the stairs leading down to the river. You’re moments away from the village where you can indulge in casual or fine dining, or peruse artisan shops and boutiques.
If you’ve been waiting to move to the charming village of Manotick, Mahogany Phase Two is now on sale! The gorgeous streetscapes of Mahogany have returned on the west side of the Mahogany Creek with a brand new collection of Single Family Homes, Bungalows, and — new to Mahogany — Bungalow Townhomes.
