A major Canadian landlord is offering support to tenants during the COVID-19 pandemic. In a letter delivered to tenants, signed by Chief Operating Officer George Van Noten, Minto Apartments says it is postponing any rental increases that were to take effect in April, May, or June. The increases will be deferred to July 1st, 2020.

The Canada Green Building Council (CaGBC) released the results of its Disclosure Challenge, an initiative designed to champion the importance of energy benchmarking and data transparency in the Canadian commercial real estate market.
