The charming story behind Potter's Key, the name of Minto's new community 2015-02-06

Minto Communities Canada's new Stittsville development will be called “Potter’s Key”, named after Ethel May Potter who owned the lot at 209 Carp Road almost 60 years ago. The name was suggested by a long-time Stittsville resident. When she found out about Minto’s contest to name the development, she says she instantly knew what it should be called.


Stittsville resident names Minto's new community 2015-02-06

Minto Communities Canada's new Stittsville community will be named ‘Potter’s Key’ after resident Debbie Eastop entered the name into their contest. With over 194 submissions to the contest, choosing the right name was no easy task but the story behind ‘Potter’s Key’ struck a chord with Minto and seemed a perfect fit for the new community.


Grand opening for new villa models at The Isles of Collier Preserve by Minto 2015-02-01

Minto Communities USA is presenting a grand opening event to introduce four new villa models. These new, furnished luxury villa models — the Fresia, Petunia, Mimosa and Dahlia—will be showcased and open to the public. In addition three furnished coach home models and four furnished single-family models will be available for touring.


Making room for millennials to play 2015-01-30

Now in the pre-construction phase, Minto Communities Canada's condominium project, Minto Westside, at the northeast corner of Bathurst and Front Sts. is scheduled for occupancy in 2018. It will have amenities designed to appeal to millennials, including two floors worth of large, interactive spaces described as an “adult playground”.

Construction Starts on The Isles Club 2014-12-28

Minto Communities USA Senior Vice President William Bullock announced construction has started on The Isles Club at The Isles of Collier Preserve. The clubhouse is scheduled for completion in the fall of 2015. It will be the social focal point of The Isles of Collier Preserve, a 2,400-acre community located just four miles from downtown Naples.


Buyers camping out for Villas By The Sea condos 2014-12-12

Real estate agent Susan Gauthier, representing a New York couple, has stood in line since Thursday morning to reserve a unit at Minto Communities USA's Villas By The Sea condominium, planned for 4510 El Mar Drive in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea. By midday Friday, four other buyers were parked outside Minto's sales office on Commercial Boulevard.


Living at Lansdowne, the park's first residents have moved in 2014-12-04

Luke Leslie and his dog have moved into their new 677-square-foot Lansdowne Park condominium unit. This one-bedroom-plus-den is on the 10th floor of Minto Communities Canada's Vibe condominium tower, with a clear view of the red and black seats of TD Place. Leslie says his evening plans include an Ottawa 67’s game at the TD Place arena, mere steps away.


Minto's Turnberry Grand Model open for viewing at TwinEagles 2014-11-30

Minto Communities USA's Turnberry Grand furnished model residence is open and available for viewing in TwinEagles' Lockford neighborhood. Lockford showcases seven, one- and two-story floor plans by Minto ranging from 2,642 to 3,811 square feet under air. Homes are on 60-foot home sites and priced from the low-$500s to $1 million.


CFL honours OSEG with Commissioners Award 2014-11-28

The Canadian Football League has presented its Commissioner’s Award – for outstanding contributions to football in Canada – to the Ottawa Sports and Entertainment Group. CFL commissioner Mark Cohon cited the work of OSEG partners Roger Greenberg, John Ruddy, and others in bringing pro football back to the nation’s capital.
