A Whitby staple for the last 25 years, Hot Rocks Creative Diner is a go-to restaurant located on Anderson Street. A casual bistro-style atmosphere offers eclectic fare including their famous wood-fired pizzas and perfect share plates, ideal for those who love tapas style dining.
Owned and operated by the same family as The Brock House, Hot Rocks is serving similar fare and an extensive list of local wines, craft beers and creative “rocktails”, such as the Grapefruit Rosemary Mule and Blueberry Basil Lemonade.
Not only is this spot perfect to hunker in to during the winter months, but they also offer a cozy patio, ideal for a summer meal and after work drink.
Some of their share plates include; Tempura Fried Cauliflower Tacos, Charred Brussels Sprouts and Miami Short Ribs. While some of their main dishes consist of a New Zealand Lamb Shank, Maple Bacon Wrapped Salmon and Vegetable Orzo. All the dishes are made in house with the best seasonal ingredients.
