GO Transit Accessibility in Whitby

Since 1967, GO Transit has evolved from a single GO Train line along Lake Ontario’s shoreline into an extensive network of train lines and bus routes across the GTA and the Golden Horseshoe.

The Whitby GO station operates as both a train and bus station, located west of Brock Street on the south side of Highway 401. The Whitby GO Train also runs a portion of the original train line – Lakeshore East.

Along with over 3,000 parking spaces available at the train station, there is also a four-storey parking structure where patrons can park for free and proceed to walk to the trains and buses using a large pedestrian bridge.

The Whitby GO Station is a bustling hub every weekday, transporting local residents into the downtown core and other surrounding areas of the GTA – travelling as far as the Niagara Region.

Whether you are a daily commuter or planning on visiting downtown Toronto for a night on the town, the GO Train and GO Bus operate on flexible schedules that will make your trip a breeze. GO Transit offers early departure times and late night GO buses that leave from Union Station – perfect for those enjoying the city well into the evening.
