Accora Village Bed Race raises over $55,000!

On Saturday February 4th, with the sun shining and Winterlude in full swing, the 32nd annual bed race took place on Dow’s Lake. An incredible 50 teams took part and raced modified, and creatively decorated, beds down a 50-metre course to find the fastest bed – all in the name of fundraising for the Kiwanis Club of Ottawa! Over $55,000 was raised and will be used to fund a number of community service projects in Ottawa.
