Minto is a family owned and operated business that has grown from a small homebuilder into a fully integrated real estate development, construction and management company with operations in Ottawa, Florida and Toronto. Our mission is to provide quality residential and commercial accommodations to satisfy the needs of the marketplace as well support and enhance the growth and well being of the communities in which we operate.

Since 1955, our Company has built more than 60,000 new homes. Minto currently manages more than 19,000 residential rental homes and apartments in Ottawa and Toronto and carries a commercial portfolio of more than 2 million square feet of office, retail and industrial space. In addition to these holdings, the Company owns and operates Minto Suite Hotel, a CAA/AAA Four Diamond hotel in downtown Ottawa. Minto owns Canada’s largest portfolio of executive furnished suites for long-term stays.

More than 1,200 employees are employed in the Canadian operations with another 300 located in Florida. The personal growth and professional development of our workforce is encouraged and supported through in-house training, continuing education and challenging career opportunities.
