As Minto embarks on our 50th anniversary year, we would like to say thank you to the community that has contributed to our success! For 50 weeks starting in January 2005, we will donate $5,000 each week to a different local Ottawa charity. Please read on to find out how to be a part of our special celebration!
Eligibility:
- Organizations applying for Minto's 50 Charities - 50 Weeks Donation Program must be a Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) registered charity. (Minto's 50 Charities - 50 Weeks Donation Program excludes service clubs, religious groups, political parties and amateur sports associations.)
- Activities of the organization must benefit local residents of the City of Ottawa and surrounding areas and/or the City of Gatineau.
- An application can be made on behalf of an organization by any individual or group so long as all the necessary information is included in the application.
- Organizations applying for this program are only eligible for one 50 Charities - 50 Weeks Donation in 2005.
- Organizations approved for a 50 Charities - 50 Weeks Donation must agree to allow Minto to profile/publish their charity's activities and/or our donation in Minto’s promotional materials such as, but not limited to, print ads.
All applications will be acknowledged, however only the 50 organizations selected as recipients for Minto's 50 Charities - 50 Weeks Donation Program will be contacted.

Deadline for Applications - February 28, 2005!
On March 1, 2005, the application form will be removed from our website and the selected charities will be featured over the 50-week period during 2005, our 50th anniversary year.
