While we are building your new Ottawa home, we are also building your community - installing roads, services, curbs, sidewalks, parks and street lighting.  We appreciate your cooperation in tolerating the dust, noise and traffic associated with construction, so that our staff and Trade Partners may perform their work and complete your community as soon as possible.

With construction of any nature, there is always an amount of waste and garbage that will be generated.  Minto diverts 75% of this waste from the landfill through various recycling programs.  You will notice red bins throughout the community which are for construction waste only, and are sent to recycling facilities for sorting.  We also stockpile, reduce, and reuse materials such as lumber and brick, piled in central locations.  Please do not use these bins or piles of material to discard household waste.

Minto is an industry leader in construction site health & safety, and we make no exceptions when it comes to adhering to site safety policies.  While your new home is under construction, we understand that you are very excited to see things taking shape.  We offer you the opportunity to view your home during the Trim Check and Pre-Delivery Inspection, accompanied by Minto personnel, and wearing the appropriate safety equipment. During the construction of your home, or even after you move into your new community, please refrain from entering any construction zone unsupervised.  Minto and our staff are responsible for site safety, day and night, evenings and weekends included.
