Minto Communities starts construction and opens up reservations for Festival - a new resort community just five miles from Walt Disney World in Orlando
Orlando, FL — Minto Communities has started construction on its newest resort community — Festival™. Festival’s 200+-acre site is located just five miles from Walt Disney World® in Orlando, between I-4 and Ronald Reagan Parkway.
Plans call for 500 uniquely designed luxury vacation villas. Construction is underway on five luxury villa models, and Minto now is accepting reservations on the first release of villa homes in phase one. Construction also has begun on Downtown Festival, a vibrant town center that will include shopping, dining, resort-style pool with private cabanas, kids’ water park, fitness center and many other recreational amenities as well as a general store, ice cream parlor, hi-tech video arcade, bar and grill, putt-putt golf course and volleyball courts. The site includes natural Florida woodlands and lakes that surround the residential areas and amenities throughout the resort.

Models are expected to open in February 2015.
Each Festival villa will have a private covered and screened lanai and plunge pool. Floorplans are designed to accommodate a wide range of lifestyle needs. The Elation model includes three bedrooms, two baths and great room. The Imagine model includes four bedrooms, three baths and great room. The Jubilee model includes four bedrooms, four baths, great room, plus loft. The Marvel model includes five bedrooms, four-and-a-half baths and great room, and the Splendor model includes five bedrooms, five-and-a-half baths and great room.
